Banishree Scholarship Assistance Amount
Under this scholarship scheme, financial incentives from Rs 100 to Rs 250 are provided. Along with other special allowances so that the children can pursue their education without thinking about the financial burden. Scholarship Scheme Hiked Amount Details
The amount of scholarships has been increased for differently-abled students under the Banishree Scholarship Scheme. Therefore, this information has been provided by the social security and empowerment of persons with disabilities Minister Ashok Chandra Panda on 21st December 2021. An estimated number of 23,000 students will be benefited from the scholarship hike amount. The increased amount of scholarships will be available for the students from the academic year 2024-25.

Eligibility Criteria for Odisha Banishree Scholarship

- Firstly, the applicant must be a permanent resident of Odisha State.
- Secondly, the family income of the candidate should not be more than Rs 60,000 per annum.
- The applicant should not be receiving any financial assistance/stipend/scholarship from State Govt/ Central Govt under any other scheme.
- Moreover, an applicant should be a regular student of an educational institution.
