Eligibility Criteria for Tamilnadu Free Laptop Scheme
To take advantage of the free laptop distribution scheme launched by the Tamil Nadu Govt for students, you will have to fulfill the following eligibility criteria;
- Only students permanently resident of Tamil Nadu can avail of this free laptop distribution scheme.
- All students of all government and govt-aided-schools will be able to avail of the free laptop scheme.
- The student can avail of the benefit of this scheme which has passed the examination of 10th/ 12th from a govt or aided school.
- In this scheme, applicants of SC and ST will be given the benefit of reservation in the process of distribution.
Required Documents for Tamilnadu Free Laptop Scheme
This scheme has been started for the bright future of the students who have passed the 10th or 12th standard from the govt or aided schools. Students will need the following documents for the online application:
- Aadhar Card
- School ID
- Caste Certificate (If applicable)

- First of all, students need to visit the official website of the ERP Software Solution Govt of Tamil Nadu.
- On the web homepage of the website, you will see the ‘Login’ page.
- Here you have to enter all the information asked and then press the ‘Login’ button.
- Note – Applicants can log in to the website by entering their name, password, and captcha code. After this, the government-free laptop scheme application form 2024 will open on the next page.
- In this registration form, you have to provide all the necessary information.
- Here students will be asked for their roll number, class, and other details.
