This scheme has announced by the CM K Chandrasekhar Rao at the time of presenting state budget for the financial year of 2019-20. The State Govt has allocated Rs 6,000 Crore to waive farm loans. Telangana Crop Loan Scheme is pre polled promise of KCR’s Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) Political Party. It has been mentioned by the Telangana CM that the state govt wants to make the application process easy for the interested and eligible farmers. The authority is interested in a paperless and portal based registration. It will be possible when an authorized portal for the Rythu Runa Mafi/Crop Loan Waiver Scheme is launched.
