PMGC 2023-24 Grand Finals

As many of you know, PMGC 2023-24 (PUBG Mobile Global Championship) is going to be hosted by PUBG Mobile Esports. However, this is one of the biggest and most globally watched PUBG Tournament to date. This event is well-recognized and the most successful gaming tournament in the world. Many top PUBG Teams from across the world participate in this tournament and fight for the PUBGM Championship. However, due to the COVID pandemic situation, the PMGC event was initially divided into two phases.

PMGC 2021-22 Grand Finals

The league stages ran for almost a month and then, league finals for eastern and western regions were hosted separately. The East League features teams from Asia and the Middle East and the top 9 teams are qualified for the East league Finals. The West League features teams from America and Europe and the top 6 teams from West Finals have qualified for the grand finals. And from these league stages, 15 teams have qualified for the PMGC 2023-24 Grand Finals.

Moreover, the last slot was reserved for the Indian team that will win BGIS 2021.

PMGC 2023 Day 1 Results – Points Table

After an entertaining PMGC – Day 1, Next Rüya, the Western champions, extended their superb form to top the points table with 35 kills and 76 points at the end of Day 1. Nova Esports, the defending champions is in second place with 32 kills and 67 points, while MENA team Nigma Galaxy is in third place with 32 kills and 67 points.

However, Day 1 was disappointing for Indian fans as country representative team GodLike Esports finished 16th with only 22 points after a relatively poor performance.

PMGC Grand Finals Day 2 Schedule (Date & Time)

Day 2 of PMGC 2023-24 grand finals will feature six rounds like day 1 spanning three maps. Round 7 is scheduled to begin at 4:30 PM IST on 22nd April 2023, and Round 7 is scheduled to start at 8:15 PM IST.

Note – The order of the maps will be Erangel, Miramar, and Sanhok.

The grand finals for the PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC) 2023 took place from 21 to 23 April 2023. Sixteen teams from around the world competed for a share of the nearly $3.5 million prize pool and the title of world champions. The teams played six matches per day across Erangel, Miramar, and Sanhok to determine the champions, for a total of 18 matches. In the end, China’s Nova Esports put up a dominant performance to become the world champions, for the second year in a row.

PMGC 2023 Team India (Passport Issue)

Many people know that Skylightz Gaming has won the (BGMIS) tournament, even though they are not going for the PMGC 2023-24 tournament. It is because the players of Skylightz Gaming have some kind of Passport issues that’s why they are unable to attend PMGC. As this event is going to take place outside India every player needs to have their own passport and visa to travel abroad.

However, according to the rules of PUBG Mobile Esports if the winning team doesn’t have a passport and visa. Then the other positioned team in (BGMIS) like 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and so on team whoever will be having a passport and visa are allowed to play PMGC tournament. According to the recent updates the news came out that the 2nd and 3rd positioned teams also have some kind of passport issues. So now, the 4th-positioned team which was GodLike Esports will represent India at the grand finals of PMGC 2023-24.

PMGC 2023 Prize Pool Distribution

Top teams from around the world will be fighting for three days to win the biggest share of the $3,490,000 USD prize pool. The stakes are very high at PMGC grand finals as the winner will walk away with a huge amount of $1.5 million. The Total PMGC 2023 Prize Pool in rupees will be approximately ₹25,900,000 INR. The winner will get almost ₹11,14,00,000 INR, the second runner-up will get ₹4,45,70,000 INR, and the third position will get ₹2,22,00,000 INR respectively.

Event Location for PMGC

The PMGC grand finals will be a semi-Lan affair, with some teams traveling out to different locations to complete, while others will play remotely. Today, Tencent revealed that Western Teams will be traveling to Singapore and will compete from there. And the majority of the Eastern Teams will compete remotely in the event, but some of them will travel to Dubai, UAE. The exact list of teams in each venue is yet to be revealed.
