Latest Update – The Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare announced that Pradhan Mantri Narendra Modi will release the 13th installment (₹2,000 Kist) of PM Kisan Yojana on February 27, 2023 (Confirmed). What is PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana?
Modi Government had announced the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana in the draft budget presented on 1st February. Under the centrally sponsored program, around 12 crore small and marginal farmers of the country will be given Rs 6,000 annually in three installments of four to four months. It will be given to 2 hectares or 5 acres of agricultural land. The Central Govt wants to make the first installment of the amount of assistance in the accounts of the farmers before March 31. PM-KSN Update – Earlier, under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, registration had to be done through Lekhpal, Kanungo, and Agriculture Officer. PMKSNY will benefit directly from 12 crore farmers. According to the land records of the respective State/ UT, the owner of the cultivable land is up to 2 hectares. Those farmers will get the benefit of this scheme and this amount will be deposited directly into the farmers’ accounts in three equal installments of Rs. 2,000 each.
