WB OASIS Scholarship 2024-25 (New Updates)

The Backward Classes Welfare Dept and Tribal Development Department, Govt of West Bengal have now announced the OASIS Scholarship Application Dates.

Here check the latest updates on scholarships in the year 2024-25:

1. The last date of the Received Online Application in oasis.gov.in is 26/02/2024.
2. In case of Account Update Module failure 2021-22, kindly click here.
3. Verification is started for the 2021-2024 session from the Block/ Municipality Level.
4. Online Application for SC/ ST/ OBC Post-matric (Renewal Application) is open for the 2021-2024 session.
5. Apart from that, the Pos-matric Online Application for SC/ST/OBC students is open for the 2021-22 session. The same Pre-matric Scholarships are available to apply for.

West Bengal OASIS Scholarship Amount List

Eligibility Criteria for OASIS Scholarship

The applicant must follow the following eligibility criteria, in order to apply for the scholarship scheme or for oasis’s new registration process:

Pre-matric scholarship for SC students	One should be a student of classes 9th and 10th and belong to the SC category. The family income should not be more than INR 2 Lakh per annum from all sources.
Pre-matric scholarship for ST students	A student must belong to the ST category. Students of classes 9th and 10th are eligible to apply. The annual family income should not be more than INR 2 Lakh from all sources.
Post-matric scholarship for SC/ST students	You should be studying at the post-secondary or post-matriculation level and belong to SC/ST category. The annual income of parents should not be more than INR 2.5 Lakh from all sources.
Post-matric scholarship for OBC students	You should be studying at the post-secondary level and belong to the OBC category. The annual income of the family from all sources should not be more than INR 1 Lakh.

The following documents are required while applying for the OASIS scholarship:

• Aadhaar card copy (or any other Govt-issued ID and address proof)
• A copy of the bank passbook

Procedure for WB OASIS Scholarship 2024 Online Application

To apply for the Oasis Scholarship in West Bengal state, you will have to follow the step-by-step simple procedure below:

• First of all, visit the official website of the scholarship scheme.
• On the web homepage, click on the Students Registration option available in the upper menu section.
• After that, a new page called “Online registration of students for applying for Scholarship via Portal” will be displayed on your computer screen.
• Here you will have to verify your Caste Certificate by entering the following details:

  • Select Type
  • Computerized Caste Certificate No
  • Captcha Code
• Then click on the ‘Submit’ button to verify your certificate.
• After this, a new page with the registration information will be displayed next.
• Now you have to Login by providing your credentials i.e Username & Password.
• After successful login to the portal, click on the ‘Apply’ option.
• Now fill out the online application form carefully with asked details and then click on the ‘Save and Proceed button. You can also print your application form by clicking on the “Download Application” option.

Finally, submit your application along with all the supporting documents to the concerned Block Development Officer (BDO) for the block area or PO cum DWO for the municipality corporation.

Note – In case your certificate is not verified online and you cannot enter into the OASIS portal, please visit the official website @castcertificatewb.gov.in. Then go to View Certificate Details where you will find the computerized Caste Certificate Number against your old certificate no. Now use that no to verify your caste certificate and then get into the OASIS portal.

Renewal Process for OASIS Scholarship Application

To renew your application for the year 2024-22, you will have to follow the simple procedure given below:

1. Firstly, go to the official website of the Oasis scholarship scheme.
2. On the web homepage, click on the Renew Scholarship option.
3. Now you need to log in using your credentials (i.e User ID, Password, District).
4. Then verify your previous details and enter any additional details.
5. Afterward, click on the ‘Renew Application’ option.
6. Here enter details of the current academic session i.e 2024-2024
7. Now click on the “Renew and Lock Application” button.
8. In the end, submit your application along with all the supporting documents to the concerned Block Development Officer (BDO) for the block area or PO cum DWO for the municipality corporation.

Track Application Status of Oasis Scholarship 2024

To check the scholarship status of your application, follow the given below simple steps:

• Now click on the Track an application option mentioned on the web homepage.

If you want to fill online application for an Incentive on Uncleaned Occupational then you just have to follow the below procedure:

1. Visit the official website of the West Bengal Oasis scholarship.
2. On the web homepage, you have to click on an Uncleaned Occupation option.
3. After clicking, the online application form will display before you.
4. Here you have to enter all the required information like District, Municipality, Ward, Name of School, Title, Applicant’s Name, Father’s Name, Date of Birth, Caste, Religion, Aadhaar Number, Address, etc.
5. Then enter the Present Occupation/ Income of Guardian, Present Class of Study, and Bank Account Details, and upload the image as well.
6. In the end, tick the Self-declaration section and then press the “Submit” button.
7. By following this procedure, you can fill out the application form for incentives on the unclean occupation.
