Kerala DCE Scholarship 2020-21: It is good news for the students of Kerala state who have secured admission to the first year degree courses at Govt/Aided Universities. The Kerala State Higher Education Council is inviting applications from all eligible students of the DCE Scholarship in the academic year 2020-21. Students who have secured admission to the 1st year degree courses at Govt/Aided Arts & Science Colleges, IHRD Applied Science Colleges & University Study Centers, affiliated to any university in the Kerala State are eligible to apply for this scholarship.

Under the DCE Scholarship scheme, students will get a monthly stipend for higher education. All interested students can apply online for DCE Scholarship through the official website of KSHEC Portal (URL: dcescholarship.kerala.gov.in). The last date of online application is 5th January 2021.

As we told you above that the students of first-year degree courses can apply online for DCE Scholarship Scheme. Online application has been started and the eligible students can now apply for the scholarship from 3rd December 2019 to 5th January 2020. Kerala State Higher Education Council has officially announced the dates.

Conditions of Eligibility: – In order to apply for the DCE Scholarship Scheme, students must fulfill the following eligibility criteria.

1. Students should be an Indian citizen and domiciled of Kerala state.
2. The students must have passed Class 12th or any equivalent examination with 60% and above marks.
3. He/she should be secured admission in a first-year of degree course from any recognized universities.
4. The subjects required in the 1st year degree courses- Science, SSc, Humanities, & Business studies, etc.

Students pursuing professional courses are not eligible to apply for this scholarship. Apart from this, students getting any scholarship/stipend other than fee relaxation are also not eligible. Scholarship allotment will be based on the total seats available per stream per university.

All eligible and interested candidates can apply for the DCE Scholarship through the online mode only. There is no offline mode available for applying. To apply online for the DCE Scholarship, kindly visit the official website of Kerala State Higher Education Council by clicking the link below. Apply Online for Kerala DCE Scholarship

• After clicking the above link, a ‘Registration Form’ for the  DCE Scholarship will open.
• Here applicants are advised to use Class 12th standard details to fill the registration form.  
• If you have already registered with DCE Scholarship then you don’t need to re-register again.
• You just do ‘Applicant Login’ by entering the existing Username & Password.
• In case forgetting Registration Id or Password, contact the Nodal Scholarship Officer of the Institution.
• After successfully login, fill the online application form carefully with all the mandatory details.
• Thereafter, submit the form online and then take a printout of the filled-in application form.

Finally, submit the duly filled-in application form along with supporting documents to the Principal/Head of the Institution. Afterward, your application will send to the Nodal Scholarship Officer for approval. Once your application will be approved, you will get a monthly stipend/allowance as per the scholarship.

Documents Required for Kerala DCE Scholarship (കേരള ഡിസിഇ സ്കോളർഷിപ്പിനുള്ള രേഖകൾ)-

The following documents/certificates are required to submit along with the application form. All documents must be attested by Principal/Gazetted Officers.

• A passport size photograph of the applicant.
• Copy of SSLC Certificate to prove Nativity, Age & Date of Birth.
• Attested copy of Marksheets of Class 12th or equivalent examination.
• If candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC Category then produce the Caste Certificate for the same.
• Students belong to BPL Category should also submit a copy of the BPL Card.
• A person with a disability should submit a Medical Certificate issued by the concerned authority.
