Recently, The Government of India launched a scheme called the “Indian Army Agniveer/ Agnipath Scheme”. This scheme was officially announced on 14 June 2023 under the new initiative for the three services. And the candidates who are enrolled in the forces under the Agnipath scheme will be called Agniveers. Under this scheme, selected candidates are entitled to 4 Years of Regular service in the Indian Army. And after their retirement from the service, they will be allotted the Seva Nidhi Package.
