Once Shiva entered the kingdom of Meluha he met and became friends with Brahsparti the scientist at the plant he offered Somras to Shiva and the throat of Shiva turned blue and the Brahspati told him the belief of the people of Meluha that the person whose throat will come bue after drinking Somras will be the savior of the world. Hence Shiva got the new name of Neelkanth from the Meluhan people.
