What is Hath se Hath Jodo Yatra?
The first phase of the three-month-long electoral outreach campaign “हाथ से हाथ जोड़ो यात्रा” will be organized at the village and block level, the second at the district level, and the third at the state level. As of now, Congress is aiming to cover ten million voting stations, two and a half million village councils, and six million communities.
Pawan Khera, head of the media department for the All India Congress Committee (AICC), has remarked, “As Bharat Jodo Yatra culminates on January 30, it doesn’t mean that the work is ended. The goals of Yatra won’t end there. And in that regard, under Haath Se Haath Jodo Yatra, our volunteers will spread Rahul Gandhi’s and the Congress Party’s message to 6 lakh villages across the country.”
Further, Khera stated, “The letter from Rahul Gandhi and Congress’ chargesheet includes the substance of what people have informed Rahul Gandhi during the Bharat Jodo Yatra.”
The party claims that Priyanka Gandhi, the general secretary of the AICC, will be the campaign’s shining star by holding Mahila Padyatras in all of the state capitals.
