Community Certificate for OBC

  • Application Form

  • Photo Copy of SC/ST community certificate of father, sister, brother, or of his/her blood relative from the paternal side
  • Self-declaration if applying for SC/ST certificate issued from outside Delhi in determined Performa rate (If the children are less than 18 years, a self-declaration from the guardian is enough)
  • Marriage Proof for married Women
  • Present residential certificates, such as Voters Card, Water Bill, Electricity Bill, Telephone Bill, etc.
  • Date of Birth (Bonafide certificate or Certificate of Birth or passport)

List of Required Documents for OBC Certificate

  • A photocopy of the OBC certificate of the father, brother, sister, or of his/her blood relative from the paternal side, if you have one.
  • 2 attestations from MP/MLA/Councillor/Gazetted Officers, that state the caste of the candidate and continuous stay in Delhi since the year 1993.

Time of Processing

Once you have applied successfully for a community certificate, it will take up to 15 days to get complete. Your community certificate will be sent to you at your permanent address which you have provided. How to apply for Community Certificate in India?

There are two methods available to apply for SC/ ST/ OBC Community Certificate in India either online or offline. You can choose as per your convenience and availability.

Offline Application Procedure for Community Certificate:

  1. First of all, the student needs to go to the center’s SDM/ DC Office in order to apply for a community certificate through an offline process.
  2. There you need to submit an application form in the prescribed manner. Kindly fill out the caste application form duly as per your caste category. The authority provides separate application forms for SC/ ST/ OBC community. Key in the following info in the application form.
  3. Personal details such as your name, gender, DOB, marital status as well as religion.
